When discomfort hits, we often seek help from the Emergency Room (ER). However, the ER frequently causes other disturbances, such as long waits, exposure to others' conditions, and a sequence of referrals one must follow before reaching specialized care.

Fortunately, Triangle Orthopaedics OUCH Centers offer a less expensive, less stressful alternative to the ER. At these six clinics, patients can access care and insight from specialists after normal business hours as well as on weekends, and the good news is the process is more prompt, efficient and affordable than one might think. In fact, patients are accepted on a walk-in basis and are typically seen in less than one hour. Moreover, the billing practices are tightly controlled; contrary to ER visits, the highest copay tier is not imposed at OUCH center visits. If a patient has a copay, he or she will simply pay the specialist co-pay.

OUCH facilities are fully staffed with trained orthopaedic professionals who provide a complete array of treatments for conditions such as:

musculoskeletal pain or injuries

postsurgical pain or complications

fracture reductions

wounds and lacerations
