Dr. Samya Mohammad completed her undergraduate degree at University of Maryland College Park and received her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated in the top 5% of her class and was inducted into the Psi Sigma Alpha honor society. She then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University and fellowship in Rheumatology at Duke University Medical Center. After completing her fellowship training, she joined EmergeOrtho. Dr. Mohammad is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with subspecialty certification in Rheumatology. Her clinical interests include Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout, SLE, and Psoriatic Arthritis.
