Dr. Martin is a podiatric foot & ankle surgeon with specialization in problems of the foot and ankle. Dr. Martin completed a 3 year podiatric medical & surgical residency with credentialing in rearfoot and ankle reconstruction at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. Through his podiatric education and residency, Dr. Martin has had specialized, comprehensive training in foot and ankle pathology, reconstruction, limb salvage and wound care.

Dr. Martin was born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina. After graduating high school, he attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina for the next six years. During his time at North Carolina State University, Dr. Martin received a Bachelor Degree in Science for Zoology and a Master of Physiology Degree. Dr. Martin then attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA for the next 4 years followed by his 3 year residency at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Dr. Martin joint EmergeOrtho in August 2016.

Special interest include podiatric medicine, foot/ankle reconstruction, diabetic foot care, and limb salvage/wound care to include but not limited to the following conditions:
