Russell R. Zelko, M.D.

Biography:

Dr. Zelko graduated from Cornell University Medical College in New York City.  He completed his residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.  He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the International Cartilage Repair Society.

Dr. Zelko has a broad range of experience in all aspects of orthopaedic surgery and special expertise in Sports Medicine, the treatment of arthritis and biologic cartilage repair and replacement procedures.

At this time, he is specializing in diagnoses and non-operative treatment of orthopaedic problems including sports injuries, arthritis, knee, ankle, shoulder, foot, hand, back, and neck problems.  Dr. Zelko facilitates referrals to the appropriate fellowship trained surgeons when surgery is necessary.
