Mathew Dorn is from Shelby NC. Dorn graduated with a BA in Exercise and Sports Science Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009. He is a current member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. Dorn says, "the most rewarding thing about Athletic Training to me is the ability to follow an athlete through out the entirety of the injury. I get to help the athlete from the onset of the injury till the eventual return to play seeing the athlete grow as he progresses through his injury. This prolonged interaction with the athletes is the most rewarding part of athletic training to me."
