Triangle’s Urgent Care Centers

Our Urgent Care Centers offer after hours care for your injured employee in Chapel Hill (opening August 15th), and in Durham at our WPP location. The centers are available to provide immediate care for such injuries as:

  •     Cuts and Lacerations
  •     Sprains and Strains
  •     Slips, Trips, Falls
  •     Back and Neck Injuries
  •     Foot and Ankle Trauma
  •     Hand and Wrist Injuries
  •     X-ray and MRI Services
  •     Post-Accident Drug Screening available on site

The Centers are open from 3:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays and Holidays.

No appointment is required.

Triangle Orthopaedic’s comprehensive Occupational Healthcare Program is designed to help injured employees quickly return to work.

It is our mission to provide an Orthopaedic-based occupational healthcare program that delivers quality-driven medical outcomes focusing on providing exemplary patient care. Our program is designed to quickly return an injured employee to maximum employment potential.

The majority of Workers’ Compensation claims and costs are related to back injuries, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other repetitive motion injuries. Triangle Orthopaedic Associates employs therapists who specialize in work injury management, including credentialed McKenzie therapists and certified hand therapists. Our hand therapists utilize specialized evaluations and treatment for upper extremity acute, post-traumatic, and repetitive strain injuries. On-site custom splint fabrication is available. Emphasis is placed on active patient involvement and patient responsibility in regard to exercise, pain relief techniques, and return to work for the acutely injured worker. Our therapists are dedicated to helping businesses and industry control the frequency and resulting costs of on-the-job injuries.

Functional Capacity Evaluations, Comprehensive Work Conditioning, Work Site program and Back School Programs are available.

Triangle Orthopaedics offers a highly- trained panel of Occupational Health providers, with specialists in such areas as:

The provider who would be best suited to a patient depends on the nature and extent of the injury. This choice will be determined by our Occupational Health Care specialist once a patient has been evaluated.

A Special Examination Program has been developed to meet the need for independent medical examinations, comprehensive second opinions, second reviews, second surgical opinions, re-evaluations of conditions and medical record reviews.
