When you arrive for your appointment, the receptionist will ask you to complete an information form. As a service to our patients, we would rather file your insurance claims for you. Most insurance carriers require the information related to your charges here at Triangle Orthopaedic Associates, PA in specific coding format and on a specific type of form. We are able to file claims to most insurance carriers electronically which usually provides a quicker response and resolution of your bill. We may ask you a lot of questions when you arrive for your appointment, however, this information is necessary to ensure that your claims are filed appropriately to your insurance carrier. We ask that you notify us immediately in the event that there are any changes to your insurance coverage, i.e. Your ID # has changed, or you have changed insurance carriers. Without this information, your claims will be denied and you may be held financially responsible for your bills.

If you have a medical problem or need to speak with a doctor, the doctor or his assistant will return your call as quickly as possible. Normally this is done when time permits during the schedule or at the end of the day. When you call, the receptionist will obtain enough information to insure a helpful response from the doctor. Your medical chart will need to be reviewed before your call can be returned.

In an emergency, the receptionist will immediately contact the physician.
